Learn to sail

Sailing for children 7 – 11 years and teenagers 12 – 14 years.
Little “sea bears” can learn sailing on optis from 9.00 – 17.00 (Monday) within the framework of an existing course (in the summer vacations BW).

Youngsters start sailing on a small keel yacht from 9.00 – 17.00 (Monday) as part of an existing course (in the summer vacations BW)

From 12.00 – 13.30 is lunch break, where everyone eats together. Lunch and drinks are included. The equipment will be provided.

What to bring:

• Sun protection, sunglasses, headgear
• rainwear, spare clothes
• non-slip shoes with light sole
• drink (in a plastic container)

Due to the high demand, we recommend that you reserve the taster sailing before you start your trip. Please indicate that you are a camping guest when registering. You will receive a discount with your guest card. Costs (sailing day + lunch) incl. camping guest discount: optical course 61,00 EUR, youth course 90,00 EUR

Lake Constance skipper’s license for motor boats
BSP A – compact course (theory and practice) special price > 531,00 EUR
We train on heated cabin motorboats, which allows training from the beginning of February until the end of November.
If you have the Bodenseeschifferpatent, you can get the official Sportbootführerschein Binnen without further examination!
If you already have the Bodenseeschifferpatent for motorboats and have passed the practical exam incl. the nautical knowledge before the district office, you are exempt from the practical exam for the Amtl. Sportbootführerschein See!

Sailing day with skipper
Enjoy a day on a small keel yacht and with skipper on the beautiful Lake Constance. Doesn’t that sound wonderful? Then cast off … Your sailing day begins with a rich breakfast with us in the “Ahoi” from 8.30 o’clock. At 10.00 o’clock we cast off. During the next hours you will discover cozy bays, small harbors and picturesque shores. A shore leave is also possible. At 17.00 o’clock you are again with us in the port. Here you can finish the evening in a nice round and with a great view over the whole harbor area with a prepared 3-course-menu (optional from 17.30 o’clock).

Children from the age of six, adults and families can participate in the cruise.

Sundowner Sailing
For young people from 14 years and adults we offer from May the fantastic sundowner sailing incl. dinner together (3-course menu from 8 pm) from the nearby ULTRAMARIN harbor. Time: Saturday, 6 – 8 pm (please be on site already at 5:45 pm).

Please register directly at the office of “Schattmaier Bodensee” or by calling 0800 / 72 42 886 (free of charge). Due to the high demand we recommend to book the Sundowner Sailing already before the start of the trip.

Cost per person incl. camping guest discount: 81,00 EUR (drinks will be charged according to consumption)
