Camping Park Gohren – the largest campsite on Lake Constance

Modern holiday fun with a family tradition
In the 1960s, not only did a totally new desire for holidays, free time and nature arise, but also the entrepreneurial spirit of two Swabian families: with the “Iriswiese”, the Frey-Wieland GmbH opened its first campsite on the northern shore of Lake Constance. And already two years later, the Frey family opened a second campsite in Gohren. This soon developed into a Camping Park and became a popular holiday location for couples and families.

After Gustav Wieland and Karl Frey, the Camping Park Gohren, the largest campsite on Lake Constance, is managed today by Werner Frey – and he continually delights his guests with new ideas and attractions. Since 2013, for example, four safari tents have delighted visitors with their African flair. Innovations in the last few years also include modern caravans, cosy mini-lodges, individual holiday chalets and a new washroom.

And in the future we shall continue, with all our experience and passion, to ensure that at the end of their holiday our guests can say with total conviction:

“Camping Park Gohren – we shall definitely be back!”
